Hi All
I know this forum seems a bit dead but wanted to pay tribute to my U11's start to the season
2 games into the season and 2 defeats in the last over - one against Helperby and one against Harrogate
We have a really thin squad this year which means at least 2 or 3 Year 4's are being asked to play each match - 5 new guys so far this year. This bodes well for the future as the "Oli affect" takes hold. Even tonight one of the 9 year olds asked if Oli would be coming. I told him i doubted he would tip up on a cold Monday night in Harrogate
All the older lads are playing really well - Ross has 4 wickets in 2 games as does Tom plus Sam has 3. Tom bowled Harrogate's Superstar batsmen tonight and nearly won it for us.
The only man missing tonight was Dan Peacock - our lefty superstar who cried off because he has SATS this week. No pressure but the main batters and bowlers tonight (Tom and Ross) also have SATS week. I am sure the Commitee will join me in saying education is NEVER a priority at NHCC. Sometimes a parent needs to work out priorities.........??? |

Education does not come close to supporting your team mates Simon, I agree.
Jack has his 'A' levels in a couple of weeks but the under 11's come first every time.
Who needs university as long as we get a victory next week. |
