Well first of all this forum is boring now!! Nowts happening on here!
After discussing it with Porky on sun, we think it would be a good idea to have a fancy dress night at the club. We thought it would be good to have a social event for the sake of having a social and not having to organise lots of things.
We thought about having it early on in the season - maybe after the first game, with the aim to spend money behind the bar, have a laugh and maybe even a few drinking games!
My idea was to have a sporting theme, that doesnt mean staying in your whites all night. For those with no imagination that might range from coming as Les Ferdinand, to Torvill and Dean, or even getting a rabbit/hare costume and coming as a rabbit/hare from the greyhounds!
I have heard that someone once went to a similar night dressed all in green with a white stripe down him and when asked what he was he said "im the goaline from the 1966 world cup final!"
The second thought for later in the year was the possibiity of a charity shop night - pull a name out of the night and you have a tenner to spend in a charity shop for that persons costume.
