What a fantastic performance by the lads tonight! Great game of cricket from first to last against a good team. Under 11's Barmy Army were supporting all the way.

Couldnt agree more. One of my best ever Newby moments and I have quite a few to choose from :wink: Having been -30 to get back to a decent total - and then bowl and field like demons was brilliant to watch. Im not sure the Cundall Manor website will be full of praise for the Newby Dads but we cheered for everything on both sides - just that Cundall didnt do anything to cheer about !! Thanks to Mark and Andy for keeping things going in difficult times - games like this make it worthwhile. And Keith (or Jacks Dad U11 as he calls himself) wins comment of the night as we are walking back to the car park by saying: The Cundall lads will be sent back to their dorms now to write 100 lines: " We must not lose to common kids". Brilliant.
