U17's
first game of the season....... don't want to talk about it, overall a poor performance

all out for 33 as grant says poor perfomance from most people, possible nets on a tuesday night if every u17 player can make it,

we feilded for 4 overs and saw a vast majority of golf swings and pulls which saw ousburn cruise to victory. oh yh mike got a wicket..

Tuesday night is an U13's game. Training tomorrow at the club, everyone involved in seniors this weekend and by all acounts hard work needed from everyone at practice. 1st game gone, think about positives to take and turn up to training with the right head on and work hard. See you all tomorrow

Fair enough first week back we got rolled over but ouseburn are a quality side who won both the league and the cup. Head's up for this coming week at home we just need to get ourselves on the game a bit more and think about what we're doing out there. A big thing in the field was lack of talking and encouragement and we all need to chirp up a bit cos we're a set of mouthpeice's off the pitch lets have a bit of a laugh on it and enjoy the game. There's no reason why we can't do the same as what happened to us, we have the resources!

Okay so we didn't quite roll follifoot for 33 all out but did manage to restrict them to 102-6 on a decent deck with great bowling from oli kelly, katie and danny herron towards the end of the innings. Most catches stuck, even if one was a cocky one hander from grunt (lucky git) and the fielding on the whole was a lot better this week so well done lads and ladie. Then batting which we struggled with first week was a lot better knocking off the total for 1 with four overs to spare after being 12-1 after ten overs! Just shows that we can win games against good sides and lets have another focused game this week against the same set of lads.
