Net session 27th Feb !
With the majority of people surviving the great earthake of 2008 it was another good turn out at the nets. Good to see that Stuart and Richard Clark have shown their devotion to Newby and also Karl Janks who unkindly tossed one down gently right on to Phils toe ! OW !! Mention to HD ! Please don't eat before nets, the fallout is not plasant. Due to the earthquake i was shaken out of my bed backwards and managed to strain a muscle in my neck but was a keen observer and can already see where runs and wickets will be coming from this year ! And also saving the point at the end ( go on number 23 ) !! Was keen to see Prid's new keeping gloves, hopefully the'll hold on to more than 4 this season !! Nice shade o green i must say !! Some definate out and out pace coming through from the likes of Grant, Mike and even the veteran Matt as the winter stiffness eases off ! And the most impressive net busting batting display from sidders was enough to fill me with confidence from behind the safty net. !! Good Times Great songs !! Stox
